COST ESTIMATE FOR THE MONTHLY SET UP AND OPERATION OF A TELECONSULTATION ROOM

ABSTRACT Objective: to estimate the cost of setting up and monthly operation a teleconsultation room. Method: descriptive study, carried out by means survey direct indirect costs for room in Niterói - RJ BR. The data analysis was based on discrimination type quantity equipment needed set room; budgets obtained through research public tenders commercial stores. To running costs, following were considered: electric power consumption; with telephone network, materials, supplies; nurses. Results: minimum R$14,904.17 reais. average 30 hours per week three nurses R$14,706.95. Conclusion: it is believed that can improve access health care, quality care reduce related system.
